Itch.io app not downloading

Clicking the download button on the game's webpage does not initiate a download. Trying to download it through the itch.io app adds the game to the download list, but does not actually install anything. Seems the commenter prior to me, Sam21, experienced the same issue.

Hello everyone! I'm happy to announce that the Android version of the game is finally available to download through Itch.io! I decided to release it this way first in order to get feedback from you guys and make sure the game runs well and has no major issues before going ahead and releasing it on Google Play and iOS. 21 May 2019 Fortunately, distribution rights do not apply for internal use. I must say that the game looks awesome, I definitely like it. But I'm afraid there's a major bug when one finishes the tournament where you fight several waves of monsters in a tent, once the event ends the music keeps playing but the screen turns black and I have to shut down the game and then re launch it, therefore I'm not able to collect the reward from such event, just wanted to point
